2.6 维生素D3：Andjelkovic等［28］经临床证实，维生素D3可作为免疫调节剂，对RA有治疗价值。与DMARDs药物合用能调节淋巴细胞凋亡和增生，明显提高RA病人缓解率。
3 关节炎模型
Firestein等［29］提出关节炎的动物模型为炎性关节疾病的病因提供一扇窗户，此外它们还能作为体内实验室来评价新的治疗方案。包括凋亡调节在内的新的治疗策略的研究，为临床试验的可行性提供了线索。新的关节炎模型也在不断完善以提高类风湿关节炎治疗的预测能力。
